Covid-19 Customer and Staff Safety Procedures

Customer and food safety.

Delivery Procedures: We will aim to call customers 10 minutes before arrival. Deliveries will be left outside of houses. For condos or apartments we encourage you to meet us in the lobby or outside. We will leave with a concierge if necessary. All alcohol deliveries require someone 19+ to accept the delivery in person.

Delivery Sanitation: Delivery is only completed by trained in-house staff (no 3rd parties). Delivery staff are required to wear face protection at all times when handling packages. Hand washing or sanitizer must be used before and after each delivery and before and after handling any packages. Vehicles are regularly sanitized before and after each delivery run.

Pick-Up Procedures: All pick-up orders can be collected at 140A The Esplanade (just east of Jarvis). Please call () or wave to us and we will bring the food to your car or leave it for you on our patio to avoid direct contact. Please DO NOT enter the restaurant.

Food Packaging: All hot food is packaged in foil containers which can be placed directly in the oven without excess handling. All food is thoroughly washed as necessary and prepared and packaged with the highest standard of care, following all staff procedures described below.

Staff safety.

Hand Washing: In addition to regular hand washing, we have set alternating 15 minute alarms for hand washing / sanitizing breaks for all staff.

Facial Protection: Staff is required to wear a mask or alternative face protection at all times in our facility.

Work Surfaces: Staff are never to share work surfaces. Individual work stations are thoroughly sanitized before and after each use. All staff must maintain a 2 meter distance from each other.

Supplier Deliveries: To limit the number of people in our facility, all deliveries will be received outside on our patio.

Common Areas & Surfaces: Access to fridges or common ingredient areas are restricted to as few staff members as possible (often times a single staff member). Handles and common areas are regularly wiped down and sanitized each hour.

Symptoms: Staff are required to stay home if feeling any type of illness or exhibiting any symptoms of illness.

We will modify and add to our list and procedures as additional details and recommendations from public health officials arise.
